This 16th-century castle is situated in the heart of Aberdeenshire, Scotland, and features stunning architecture, beautiful gardens, and a fascinating history. The castle's origins date back to the 12th century, with additions and renovations made over the centuries, resulting in a unique blend of medieval and Renaissance styles. Visitors can explore the grand halls, chambers, and towers, including the impressive Great Hall and the ornate Chapel Royal. The castle's grounds are equally impressive, with beautifully landscaped gardens, a tranquil lake, and a scenic walking trail.
There are lots of fun things to do all year round, yet the best part of it is the paddling pool during summer.
This is such a lovely local park!!!! It's clean and great for the kids to have lots of fun!! Many big trees to stay under a shade while kids enjoy playing. A paddling pool too on the hot days, it just gets dirty which I understand with all the kids going in and out. A great place to have a party too or a barbecue (not sure if it's allowed but I saw many people having it which didn't bother us honestly).
Very nice park with big trees, playground,Only toiletets is a problem.
This is my local park. It's a great place to walk and where I greet neighbouring dog walkers. The Museum makes a lovely visit (toilets inside). Currently undergoing restoration to the east wing. Also the Antwerp Arms (The Annie to locals) serves Redemption Ales. It's it London's first community owned pub.
Castle and museum good. Nice children's park but Haringey council don't really look after it as much as other parks with poor maintenance of play equipment and only 4-6 weeks of paddling pool per year. Normally busy after school so kids have others to play with.
Today I decided I see that green spot on the map for real. I found a castle, what is the Bruce Castle Museum & Haringey Archives (... as you can see in the pictures.) I saw nice old trees, I was just wondering about the story of their life (... what they can tell us.) There are playground with a pool for children. There are possibilities for activities as playing basketball, tennis, walking, running, exercising on your own or as part of the organised group (... what I saw). The cutting the grass was an attraction (... a made a record about it.) It was impressive how the was turning around the trees. I found one of the entrances an ice cream too. I did not try but probably you should. ... but unfortunately, I realised, I could not use my phone without problem. The sign was jumping between 3G and 4G and I had a phone call what I could make in the fifth time only. It was really annoying.
