Get away from the crowds with this hidden Gem, a huge stretch of beach that not many people know about with cliffs, rock pools, sandy beach and has Lifeguards on duty. Access is difficult over rocks but once on the beach its easy. Take everything you need and stay all day you won't regret it. Parking is limited though so check the tide and get there early. Also check out the little tea room just inland, amazing cream tea.
Our favourite beach on this stretch of coast. Lots of sand at low tide, great rock pools, perfect for jumping in the waves and bodyboarding. Also has the prettiest beach cafe and garden with a stream running through it.
Absolutely stunning natural landscape. Quieter beach and very interesting spots. Lots of quiet place to sit and watch the world go by. Not the easiest beach to get down to but there is a car park and those with mobility issues could get dropped off if they could manage a slight incline and some stones to get to Sandy bit. The kids loved the beautiful clear sea, rock pools and caves!!! Stunning to look at from the top of the cliff even if you can't get down to it. Northcott bay was only about 15 mins from our caravan at Bude holiday resort. No toilets at beach but life guards patrolling area and tea room 2 min walk.
