A great day out. You can a ticket that stops off at three other stations. A small cafe is at one stop with plenty to choose from. Well worth a visit!

Visited Keighley & Worth Valley Steam Gala running some very well restored engines. A great day out to support the railway.

I returned to Oakworth to enjoy the period feel of this wonderful station. A "Star" in the very real sense, Oakworth's authenticity as railway structure untouched by the progress of time remains a draw card. Appearances in movies and television programs with a good deal of historical themes make this a dream for creators and audiences alike. Well, mere visitors can experience the magic of Oakworth. I highly recommend a visit and become absorbed with the heritage of a long lost era.

Heritage railway run principle by volunteers. The location from the film the railway children. A visit was always on my wife's bucket list. Met couple of volunteers who took time to run through the station and history with us which will add considerably to the experience and understanding of the foundation of the industrial revolution which without the railways Britain could never have been great. It is a proud statement to our heritage. Well kept, well staffed and good value. Revisited August 24. Took journey on steam train. In renovated carriage. Well worth it for us andyoug grandson. There is a lot to see including static engines and information boards. Well done to the volunteers.still 5*

Absolutely magical place. Just like both railway children films. I highly recommend you go. Lovely staff, too. Visit the 3 chimneys cottage and Haworth village. Lots of film locations to see.
