10/10 Brilliant day out for anyone into aviation! The bournemouth aviation museum has to be the safest, most welcoming, and interactive day out we have been on yet! Our 4 y/o absolutely loved being able to touch and explore all the brilliant aircraft and vehicles on display. The staff were very knowledgeable and answered any queries and questions they were also very friendly. It is brilliant value day out for family's at only children PS5 adults PS10. Take a picnic and sit at the benches surrounded by all the wonderful aircraft. Or purchase drinks and snacks from the shop or hot drink vending machine, also reasonably priced.

I took my Grandson aged four for his first visit, and he loved every moment. He got in every plane cockpit and loved pushing the knobs and buttons. He also loved getting in the other vehicles especially the bus. A regular clean would be good and on the day the refreshments were not available. Worth a visit as kids were having a great time. The viewpoints over the airport are a good idea.

Nice selection of old aircraft. Very appealing to all ages. Some aircraft are available to sit in. Kids loved pressing all the buttons and sitting in the pilot seats. The staff is very knowledgeable, you can tell that they care about the exhibits very much. There is a nice little gift shop, which is the entrance and exit to the exhibition. They now have a little coffee shop. And there are toilets at the premises too. This place is right next to the extra parking for the airport. So make sure you register your car for free parking.

Fun experience here, not the best collection or condition but much more access to the planes than most. Enjoyed it greatly. Helpful friendly staff, good value. A little difficult to find could do with better signage.

it's a small museum, but it's A HANDS ON museum, most of the planes they have, you can get in, on my day of visit I even got to see the red arrows, yes, you can watch the planes there too, even though the airport isn't that busy so you might have to wait for the planes a bit, expect to spend 1-1.5 hour

Fabulous little museum! Unlike any other aviation museum I've been to, you're allowed and encouraged to climb in and get hands-on with most of the exhibits - flick those switches and press those buttons! It's a wonderful little gem directly opposite Bournemouth Airport... all the scheduled flights in and out of the airport are listed daily as you enter the museum, so it's a great place to sit and watch aircraft take-off and landing too thanks to the raised viewing platforms giving a good view to even the youngest of aviation buffs. It's also an absolute bargain to get in, PS7 for adults and PS3 for children, and there's free parking too for visitors to the museum. I'll certainly be going back!
