Beautiful park, didn't walk through it all, we sat under a massive tree and had a picnic. There was lots of little squirrels that seemed quite tame , so I assume they get fed by visitors. The only trouble we had was not being able to find restrooms but maybe we didn't look hard enough!

Great park for a nice walk, for kids to play, and activities. If need some history check out the mansions and the monuments throughout the park. Plenty of seating to relax and feed the wildlife. What a lovely park with pathways as well as plenty of grass areas. There is an area for children complete with all the playground rides. There are places to buy refreshments as well as a water fountain. The pond has a safety railing around it with a walkway around the pond plus seating. There are numerous trees so you can always find shade from the sun.

A truely magnificent park in the heart of Ipswich. The gardens of the arboretum are lovely and the park offers vast areas of grass and numerous paths for walks. There are 2 refreshment kiosks and a large children's play area and not to forget the Mansion
