We played the Rockstar room today and it was absolutely brilliant. Definitely makes your brain work, the kids got really into it and are already asking to go back again to do another one. The staff were really friendly which added to the experience even more. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something fun to do in the local area.

Completed the Samurai room today! Chris, our designated staff member, was absolutely great and gave us subtle yet helpful clues when we needed them most. Great fun and good value for money. Would recommend for anyone!!

Just did the Rockstar room...it was great! Having done lots of escape rooms, it's great to find one that is original and keeps you thinking! Games hosts were lovely - shout out to Charlie who, considering he hasn't even finished his training, was entertaining and welcoming before we started the game - he will make a great host! Thank you

Really fun family day out! We did the samurai room which is apparently the hardest. Our host Chris was really helpful. Only reason this isn't 5 stars is because we wasted 10mins because one of the clues was broken at the start. But Chris came in and sorted it for us so we could continue. Will book again!

Took part in the samurai room - very disappointed with the low budget decor compared to other escape rooms we've been to. Effort towards backstory was weak. The clues were vague, there was no actual progression to them (no clue led onto another, each was almost independent of the next) and most were unsatisfying, boring solutions. Several red herrings which were difficult to tell if deliberate or poor execution (scribbled out words on the walls which never appeared to take part in the final solution as an example). Clues given on the screen were for parts of the puzzle we had already completed which made it feel like the games master wasn't even watching? At the end when we asked for how to reach certain solutions the games master wasn't even confident when describing the answers ("I think it's probably this..") Probably would have enjoyed it for a lower price but didn't feel worth the money.

Sadly my group of 10 had a negative experience at Bust Out 360 Essex last month. We pre-booked but the host and rooms were not ready for us. There was one host running 3 rooms at once, meaning we had to wait quite a while for the games to begin, very lengthy waits for help and quite a few difficulties. We didn't really got much of an overview/ ground rules when starting the rockstar room, which resulted is us spending a very long time trying to unlock a padlock which was impossible when we didn't know how to reset the lock! We were not monitored despite being told the host would be watching the camera; we had to leave the room and go downstairs 3 times because the host was not acknowledging our shouts and waves to the camera for help. The game wasn't fun, it was frustrating. We have given the company a month the reply to our emails raising these issues and more, but sadly we've been ignored. Sadly I found Bust Out 360 Essex to be unprofessional and disorganised.
