Great place to visit. You need to be fairly fit and able to climb the ladders to the top. One of the volunteers told me a bit about the windmill before I looked around.

Lovely setting and beautiful windmill. Be careful and check opening times before you go. It's not always open and the people I met there were not impressed.

What a great little National Trust visit. No parking by the windmill, but there is a lay-by just before it that has parking for around 7-8 cars. You can go all the way to the top of the mill, and there are plenty of activities for the kids. Giant jenga, mud kitchen, crafts and a mouse hunt inside the mill itself. Well worth a visit.
