A lovely walk around the base of the castle, along the river/canal. Many sculptures strewn around the woods. Easily done in an hour unless you stop to admire the views. Parking can be a challenge, especially on market day

It's quite a short walk but it's honestly beautiful with a cute little pond and an amazing waterfall! I loved it, and I am sure you will too!

Lovely visit to the castle, followed by a walk along castle walk, very wet and rain so didn't do all the walk but will go back to complete, worth a visit good footwear needed though.

Lovely little walk through the woods. While the path was largely good it was muddy in places. Several sets of steps. Narrow path in places. Limited access for buggies. Some benches and wicker sculptures. Water was fast flowing while we were there. Free to enter.

A lovely wood to roam and explore. Some fairly steep areas but they are proper paths with hand rails. It can get quite muddy after rain on some paths so don't expect to keep your shoes clean. It's quite secure so you don't have to worry about children and dogs escaping. I recommend either entering or leaving from the canal path, as it has some spectacular views of the castle perched on the rocks.

Small but stunning woodlands with a dam, stream, and ponds placed around a few different walks. It is very easy to get around on the well-kept paths and stairs. Only negative, the signs say keep your dogs on a lead (which I did) only to be pested by dozens of dogs running off lead. Beautiful place, though. Well worth a visit.
