Bijou museum, comprehensive curation of Two Tone music & other Coventry music. Lots to see & the volunteers are both friendly & very knowledgeable. Definitely worth a visit. Nice cafe opposite too

My fourth visit - as ever, great fun for anyone who loves music history. A real labour of love from Pete and the volunteers who do such a great job. The "This Town" exhibition is well worth seeing!

What smashing folk, what a grand little collection of musical artefacts and 2tone treasures. Skankin' good centre piece to the marvellous two tone village, a stones throw from the centre of Coventry. Brought back so many memories of carefree times and musical innovation. And all for a fiver apiece! Give yourself enough time to browse the emporia and enjoy the delights of the two tone cafe. If you're really clever, you can coincide with a gig in the venue next to the museum. If you're doing a "This Town" trail, they've got costumes from the show and a recreation of the bar in the Zulu HQ, The Happy Trooper, at which stood members of the museum team as extras in that fight scene. Go and 'ave a look it's bostin'!

Very interesting little museum with excellent volunteer staff who know lots about the Coventry music scene over the decades, and are happy to share information or take photos for you. I recommend you have a photo taken in the "car" that was used in the ghost town video Well worth a visit

Excellent visit, spent about 90 minutes there. The small museum is stuffed with musical memorabilia, vintage gear and interesting, quirky displays. Not just Two Tone, a whole range of Coventry music-making I knew nothing about. Big shout-out to the volunteers, who were enthusiastic and chatty. Small music room downstairs to make some noise, and some dressing up and things to do for kids. Hint - if you play the Theremini, turn the Pitch Correct to maximum and sound like a pro ;-)

Great atmosphere, really helpful and knowledgeable volunteers who helped make the experience totally bespoke, cool little cafe and really friendly community at the 2 Tone Village. Proud to live just down the road from this! A lot of hard work and love has gone into this collection, lots of passion around when chatting to the staff, which is infectious..will be back!
