Loved this place totally. Great for picnics. Walking your dog . There are sheep, lambs, colts ,horses just wondering freely around the place. The greenery is superb ,and the manicured loans expanse. It's a total breath of freshair literally

Great place to pop up to, just on the edge of Dartmoor, a few miles outside of Plymouth city centre. The space is wide open and the sheep roam free. The Rick itself is easy enough to climb, if a little slippery in places. There is even a part where you can slide down, if you're feeling adventurous. Unfortunately a bit of graffiti on a nearby bin and broken bottles and a bit of rubbish at the foot of the rock itself mark it down a tad, but, as a convenient taste of the moors with great views and lots of space, this is a useful addition to the repertoire of places to visit in the area.

Beautiful setting. Usually an ice cream van there too.. Lots of parking, there's wild horses and sheep and occasionally cows Great for bike rides, dog walks picnics. There is a park at the bottom end..

I absolutely loved this place, large open area with wild horses and sheep( children obviously love this) the large rock was great for a little rock climbing and the view from the top was absolutely beautiful. For those who love history the area has some historic link to world war as well. Great for a day trip. I had the best ice-cream as well from Willy's ice cream van. Great day
