Lovely place for a dog walk. We enjoyed the woods. We only found a small loop, but still it was pretty.
Really pleased we went! The owner is so friendly, had a lovely chat about the donkies and his two very friendly black labs. Tea, coffees for PS1.50 and soft drinks are PS1 and it's totally free to enter. Really hope they do well and will be sure to visit again. Check out their Facebook page for open days events. Otherwise it's open on Saturdays only. Lots of parking.
Took the mound in when on a visit from Yorkshire... this mound would not look out of place in the dales! A real hidden gem that provides a great viewing spot for all ages; would recommend grabbing a picnic and maybe a few cans. Will be back as soon as can get down this way again.
A lovely museum and well worth the climb up the hill. Plenty of local history as well as all you need to know about Brunel's railway and the big storm in 2014.
A little quiet corner managed by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust. I've seen Muntjac Deer and Foxes there; plenty of bird life and a traditional wild meadow. Enjoy.
This is a beautiful place to visit. Peter was a very knowledgeable and witty guide. The mill is beautiful although it's a shame the wheel is not turning at present. The tearoom is fantastic. The sweet potato soup was wonderful as were the cheese scones. Wonderful setting to enjoy a snack and a cup of tea or coffee. I had a lovely walk along the Severn back into Bridgnorth and it's only a short distance.
