As others have said it is NOISY! Trains day and night plus the A5. Mudbath when wet. I used it for an overnight as wife arriving at station Longest I would stay. Atherstone is good for shops Tesco, Aldi, Large Co-op plus a REAL butcher and baker. Some nice cafes. Leannes. Friendly and good prices (GF and alt milks) The Old Bakery Friendly and nice breakfast. OK Prices

Very noisy with railway one side and the A5 on the other side also as lots of foot traffic on tow path but close to the town centre and super markets
