I stayed for one night to break a long car journey and was very impressed with the hotel. The setting is very picturesque, with attractive grounds. The reception was quiet when I arrived and I was welcomed in a very friendly and professional way. I am a Hilton Gold Member and was thanked for this - and also given complementary breakfast and drinks vouchers. The room was very modern and very clean - as was every part of the hotel I visited and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good with a wide range of food and well displayed. I would definitely stay again and would bring the family on the next trip.

We recently got married at Cadbury House on 28.7.24 and in all honesty there are no negative points that arise in this review.|The whole day ran smoothly- my suppliers (hair/makeup artists, photographer, and florist) were all sent straight to the boardroom where we were getting ready on arrival, and our events manager Louis popped in as we were getting ready to ensure the morning was going smoothly. Louis ensured that guests were seated and that both myself and the groom had seen the registrar in perfect time for our ceremony, and made sure the set up was lovely. We were able to get married in their wooden gazebo and have our drinks reception down on the lawn near to the lake which was just stunning. The food was cooked to perfection and the chefs catered amazingly for our guests- we had two coeliacs one vegetarian and a dairy free guest, who were all offered wonderful and tasty alternatives. |Our evening reception was ran by Paige who was equally as attentive- ensuring our cake cutting, first dance and buffet all happened at a time that suited us. She also made the effort to ensure that our gifts were delivered to us, and some wedding cake was put in our room, alongside a card and some Prosecco which was a lovely touch to our day. We stayed in the loft suite which was totally gorgeous and breakfast the next morning was wonderful. All guests who stayed including us also received complimentary use of the gym and spa. |We will most certainly stay at Cadbury again, perhaps next year for our wedding anniversary. |Thank you for ensuring that myself and Zak had a fantastic day. |Lots of love, the new Mr and Mrs Davis xx

Came here during August, the hotel scenery is beautiful and there is a lovely garden to the front which has nice games to use. The rooms were nice, and the spa & gym facilities were excellent, while it is not accessible via the hotel and an external entry, the gym is very high quality and is very well used at all times. The restaurant Marco Pierre White was mediocre, overpriced and lacking any flavour. The buffet breakfast was nice and there is a good variety of options to choose from. The downside is the daily parking charge of PS7.50 which should be subsidised since it's not exactly London either.

We were really looking forward to staying at this hotel, especially since it was the first trip my sisters, my mum, and I had together. The pictures looked gorgeous online, and we were excited. When we arrived, the scenery was just as beautiful as in the photos. However, our experience quickly went downhill. At check-in, we had to pay separately for parking, which we found absurd. The check-in process itself was ordinary, not particularly welcoming. We received our keys and headed to our two twin rooms. On the way, we noticed the corridors were quite dirty and in need of a good vacuum! One of our room doors was left slightly open, which was strange, but we didn't think much of it at the time. Later, we found a dirty towel with makeup stains in the bathroom, making us question the cleanliness of the room. The view from our rooms was of the car park, not the beautiful scenery we had seen in the pictures, which was really disappointing. Additionally, the toilet flush in the other room was not working properly. While the restaurant and breakfast were nice, the breakfast area was small and got very crowded. The spa was fully booked during our stay, and its appearance was not pleasing. The pool was small and always crowded, and the yoga classes were all booked up. There wasn't much to do! Overall, it was not a place I would return to or recommend. It simply wasn't worth the almost PS780 we paid for a two-night stay for four people. Perhaps the restaurant alone is worth a visit for the view and a meal, but definitely not for an overnight stay. Very disappointed!

We really enjoyed our brief stay at this hotel. The setting is beautiful and as it was sunny we enjoyed a glass of wine on the terrace before a super meal in the Marco Pierre White Grill House. The staff were excellent, friendly and keen to help (warm cookies on arrival are a nice touch). We stayed here the night before an early flight, and left the car here so when parking was taken into account, it was pretty good value for money too. Recommend.

This is a lovely picturesque hotel, in a wonderful part of the world. The service and staff are excellent, always willing to make the extra effort for you. Very clean with a credit to the hotel. The food was beyond our expectations. My criticism is mostly out of their control. Unfortunately it's under the flight path of Bristol Airport which can be a distraction. If your room is in the far end of the newer part of the hotel, it can be somewhat of a trek, up and down in lifts. But they are good rooms. We were short of tea and coffee, but that was soon fixed ! Altogether a good stay and excellent wedding venue.
