Some time to kill before catching a flight to Belfast and spent it here. Very nice experience with a fine display of arts & crafts for sale, good parking and nice snacks. Oh and a little train in the gardens - great for the kids....large and small! Spent a pleasant time wondering around the gardens which must have the most friendliest ducks around!!....made a beeline for us, whilst we sat on a seat in pleasant sunshine, and were practically ready to sit with us!! Highly recommended to visit. Hope to return some day!

Stunning park especially on a sunny day. Lots of pathways to explore, plenty of places to picnic. The main pavilion has lots of food services and stalls to peruse. Park spaces have lots for the kids to play on. Small amount of on site parking, but plenty on on street parking nearby

A beautifully kept park with enough facilities to keep anyone happy. The location is central to Buxton town centre which makes it easily accessible on public transport. The food, toilets and shop are all in the gardens. The 2 play areas are fantastic for younger and older kids. The miniature train ride does 2 loops for PS2 a person. A really nice space with a lake and many friendly ducks snd birds, ready to eat seed out of your hands! There is an ice cream shop by the play area with toilets which are very handy, so no sudden dashes back to the main entrance.

Boating lake, lovely walks, children's play areas, amazing gardens - Buxton is a delightful place to visit but the Pavilion Gardens are the "Jewel in the Crown"

Beautiful park in the middle of Victorian Buxton. It's an ideal place for a day out, with so much to see and do. Walking round the gardens you wander through a landscaped treasure, complete with a boating lake and bandstand. It's like a Mary Poppins day out! If you go a little further out, there's Poole Cavern and Solomon's Temple with its lovely view over the valley. Well worth a trip.

Beautiful Park and gardens but unfortunately was spoilt by the geese. I have never seen so many. Their mess is everywhere, you can not play it sit in the grass.
