One of Plymouth's best hidden gems, a miniature railway situated in a semi-wild conversation area that offers a mix of steam and battery powered locos to haul passengers around a mixed-gauge double loop with a total length of half a mile including features such as bridges, crossovers, a tunnel and parallel running sections. Incredible value at a fixed rate of PS1 per ride, the volunteer staff are great and offer a very family-oriented welcome to all. Open for running days on the 1st and 3rd Sunday each month it's well worth a visit for small and big railway fans alike.

Lovely little place. Very reasonably priced. Lovely train rides. Fab to fill a couple of hours. Very busy today as sun was out. Could do with a couple of pieces of play equipment to occupy little ones when waiting for trains but had a fab few hours.

Unfortunately came up here with my 2yr daughter all excited but arrived early as I didn't realise it opened at 2......when parking up a elderly gentleman who worked/volunteered there was staring at us almost giving us evil looks whilst we were parking & getting out which made me feel really uncomfortable & decided not to return, very disappointed as we were very excited until this very unfriendly unwelcoming gentleman
