Selby Park is very close to Selby Abbey. It is a very well-kept park. The flower beds were very attractive and full of colour. There are plenty of footpaths to walk along. There is a small war memorial in a quiet, peaceful part of the park. It is a nice little Oasis in the town.

The park is small but has a good atmosphere. It has a playground for children and it is also conveniently next to the train station
