Lovely walk around the Abbey. Very interesting and informative. You do not have to pay an entrance fee but you will be asked for a donation towards the upkeep ut well worth it.

Had a wonderful visit this week, and was so happy and surprised that they did midday prayers which I was thrilled about . Beautiful Abbey full of history, and loved the cadfael Information. Lovely gift shop, and amazing volunteers. It's free too, they just ask for a donation..

A very nice Abbey church of the holy Cross dating back to 1038 AD as a Benedictine monastery. It was well worth a visit with only a short walk from the center of Shrewsbury. The volunteers were very helpful, a beautiful place which is well worth a visit if in the area.

It's a really lovely Abbey dating back to the 11th century. Free to enter and dig friendly, too.
