Nice situation where you can see how the river was diverted. Run by people who know & love what the mill is about. If you're interested in textile arts & crafts then you should visit Whitchurch. Or just go along to see the excellent piece of history that Whitchurch is.

When arrived intended just having a tea/coffee and snack. But decided to look round the mill which was very interesting, unfortunately they weren't weaving this may have changed my opinion on admission prices, bit expensive for what we actually saw. Snack turned into lunch which was very nice and not to badly priced and we were able to eat outside under a gazebo in a lovely garden area near the river which was full of lovely looking trout despite it raining.

Visit the cafe nearly every week with my little one something on the menu for everyone! Staff are always very pleasant and welcoming being able to sit in the gardens during the nice weather is also a added bonus! We also enjoy popping in for a takeaway ice cream and some duck food

Have passed the sign to the mill many times on A34, but always during closing time. So at last I was able to visit during opening times and very pleased I did, very interesting and excellent knowledge of the industry when speaking to a young lady, sorry can't remember her name, she very informative and answered lots of questions my friend and I asked. My friend had fun dressing up in the costumes. We are all big kids. Thank you so much and the disabled lift was a god send. Will visit again. Well recommended.

*Did not go through the museum* - stopped for a wander through the shop, grabbed an ice-cream and enjoyed the grounds. Based on what I saw it was a lovely addition to a short walk around the town. One of the most pleasant places I've had a sit for a lunch snack in a while. Close parking but imagine it gets full quickly in peak hours
