Paid PS90 for silver experience with the little one it was a great day out. The zoo is a little dated but I deeply appreciate the effort made by the staff. It was well worth the hour experience to feed the animals and see behind the scenes. The experience paid for the general tickets also so we made a good day of it. Just please close some of the games as we lost some pennies being eaten by the broken machines haha. 10/10 go for it if you have the money to spend on a great experience for your little one.
Paid PS45 for the family ticket, great bargain, and great experience! This is definitely a smaller child focused zoo and the playground is definitely a godsend to drain the kids batteries! Could not recommend more :)
Loved this zoo! I visited as a solo adult, and really enjoyed it. Almost all of my favorite zoo animals were represented: meerkats, otters, lemurs, cats, ponies, wallabies, mice, guinea pigs and cute monkeys. I liked that there were very few of animals that I find "boring" in big zoos, so I did not waste my time on anything I don't like. Attended two feeding times, and really enjoyed the keeper talks. It's clear they love the animals a lot, and care very well for them. Very surprised at the conservation work they do, they are such a tiny zoo but helped bring several species back from near extinction, such as beautiful Bali songbirds, Scottish Wildcat and rare domestic life stock. Really admire them for putting so much effort into this! In terms of improvements, the cafe could have a better selection and more staff. Toilets very clean. Zoo well maintained. The only animal suggestion would be to get sugar gliders! Overall, well worth the 14PS!
I popped to Battersea Park Children's Zoo to take a still life drawing class with Wild Life Drawing. Truly a lovely place to visit and can see the fantastic care the animals are getting. All the basic amenities you need when popping to a zoo by yourself or with family, toilets, cafe, zoo shop and playground. Lots of lovely animals to see despite their smaller footprint. I really appreciate all the conservation and educational work they are doing !
We visited Battersea children's zoo on Friday. what a lovely little zoo . But When we came home, my husband told me the tickets were expensive and that our daughter, who is less than 20 months old, had been charged for them. Am I shocked. What's going on here?
This was great as we went during the summer early morning just after 10 am. There is quite a good playground area for small children as well as slightly older children. I would probably say to the age of eight or nine is probably the maximum. They a real life helicopter, tractor, fire and the children can sit in which is really good fun. There is also a sandpit area the children can enjoy. There are good places to sit and enjoy your own picnic, with ice cream shop as well as the Costa Coffee shop available. Good range of attractions of animals to see including farm animals, exotic birds, exotic monkeys. There is a small shop at the end where you can also purchase some goodies.
