We loved our tour of the Myers House! We opted for a guided tour with Christine who was absolutely PHENOMENAL! She was a great story teller and knew so much about both the Myers family/house as well as Norfolk history in general. I would say to definitely utilize the awesome knowledge of the guides when you visit for a fun and interesting visit. MEYERS HOUSE IS A MUST SEE SPOT IN NORFOLK!!!

This museum is gem that not many would stop into what you should. This house was kept in pristine condition from the 1860s all of the artifacts the decor the furniture is in such good condition. The tour guides are so well educated and lovely. They will give you a tour as long or a short as you want, they have a little snippets of information that make the tour even more fun, educational and enjoyable and to top it all off it's free the museum and even a private tour guide is free I'm a person who gets bored easily and I was in ruptured with everything not to be missed

What an incredible historical tour this was. So much of the original house has been maintained due to the fact that it is the same family that is maintained ownership of it. It really is like going back in time! Tour guide didn't excellent job!
