Firstly google maps doesn't take you to the right location, zoom in to see the path and you notice the parking spot near the end of the road. Beautiful scenery but it's surprisingly steep! It's not an easy stroll but it's not a hike, it will just get them thighs burning!

A very popular and pretty easy Wainwright to knock off. It is also the most northern Wainwright to do. Easily accessible as there is small car park and a few parking spots at the start point on a back country road at the bottom. Simply park there go through the side gate and follow the path to the trig pointed summit and come back down to the start point. As simple as that. Lovely views from the top! Parking: Small car park and several other spots. 5-7 cars. Route: Well defined wide path, nice views, gentle climb. A variety of circular options available. Route Statistics: 2.5kms with 170m of ascent done in 38minutes.

Very short easy climb up to the summit with great views back towards Skiddaw and the Northern Fells.

Great short walk for the family. Fantastic views from the top. A full 360 out to the coast and Scotland beyond. Lakeland mountains in the opposite direction.

Not surprised that Binsey is part of the wainwrights. From the summit, the view is incredible . It took an hour to go up and back, if someone is begging for the journey, Binsey is an easy win. It's muddy and slippery tho.

Great little hill. Parking area at the gate. Walking on a grass path all the way up. No scrambling or anything technical. suitable for younger walkers. My 4yr old managed it. Views outweigh the effort when you reach the top. Great walk and views
