I didn't even know this place existed until the lockdown but I was so glad to find it. Beautiful walks, deer, kites, hares, coots, any number of plant and animal species. It has been such a pleasure to watch the landscape changing over the past months. This is a lovely place to walk or cycle, spoilt only by people leaving their rubbish behind, so if you go for a walk, please take your rubbish away with you as there are no bins.

Early morning walk to the lake with our pup wilma. Damp morning with light drizzle but a lovely warm morning and so quiet. Took our back packing chairs and tea n coffee and spent an hour just sitting watching the moorhens and coots on the lake. Well worth a visit good for dog walks

A great new nature reserve built on a former clay pit and brickworks. Numerous paths to follow and frequent encounters with Roe Deer can be had.
