About

Church Rock is a unique rock formation situated on the coast of Guernsey, one of the Channel Islands in the English Channel. This natural wonder is a large, freestanding rock that has been eroded into a distinctive shape, resembling a church or a cathedral, hence its name. The rock is surrounded by the sea, and its isolation adds to its dramatic appearance. At high tide, the rock is almost completely submerged, while at low tide, it is accessible by a small beach. Church Rock has become a popular tourist attraction and a iconic symbol of Guernsey, with many visitors drawn to its unusual shape and picturesque surroundings.

The walk around the coastal path is scenic, all the rocks and cliffs, it makes an incredible walk. You will reach 2 beaches if following one of the walk paths and they are around 5km distance to each other. You can follow then a walk by the lake what will become boring. But definitely the cliff side should be enjoyed

Nice feature of the Broadhaven bay/beach. When the sun catches it right it does stand out in a pretty special way. These were taken in February so nice crisp day with good winter sun.

Loved this beach. And if your a good swimmer, you can swim in between the church rock n the cliffs and there's a cave you can swim into. I took a photo of above and inside this water hole.

What an amazing place and a stunning location for swimming surfing bodyboarding, even cliff jumping, also close by to the left of the beach on the cliff tops is the famous black hole to jump in if you have the minerals lol I went when the tide was out and it was about 80 foot to the water lol

Amazing beach..this is a hidden secret beach in Pembrokeshire. Beautiful view and landscape. Nearby parking available. Just 5-7 mins walk from parking. Clean water shower is also available. And jumping in to the water from the cliff was fun. Lovely place

An iconic stretch of beach but a little underwhelming compared to some of the others in Pembrokeshire. The view out to church rock is nice though and maybe when the weather is warmer the sea will be a bit more welcoming! It's well worth walking here from Bosherton too, past the lily ponds and whatnot. Make a day of it!
