Fabulous day out for the whole family lovely walks with plenty of information posts and seat stops for those who like to drink up the views . Just wish we had brought a picnic plenty of seating and can even camp overnight. The farm house also sell fresh venison which we will try on our next visit .

Stop off when driving past. Was early evening so pretty quiet, car park big and free. We only had a wee walk up to the viewing spot which took about 60mins round trip with 2 kids, and toilet stop. Couldn't have spent longer but midges where out in force! Would stay again and explore more! Worth a visit if you passing by.

Stunning. All I can say. Big free car park and a short walk to the toilet and picnic area. The walk out to the loch starts mildly steep for 20 mins or so and then flattens out. 12km or so in total out and back. We got an amazing day for it but I suspect it would be moody and gorgeous no matter the weather. This isn't far from nearby villages or the A9 so a very accessible, relatively short walk for such a stunning view.

This is the most scenic place we have spent the night at very peaceful and an abundance of wildlife we spotted a golden eagle and and osprey also a black grouse highly recommended if you are travelling north and need a stop over.

Beautiful place for a walk. Nature reserve has a number of different walks for all abilities. Information point and signs to ensure you don't get lost whilst wandering. Car park quiet for an overnight stay. Toilets nearby. I visited over Easter and there were only a couple of other campers there. Felt safe and secluded. Definitely recommend a visit.

This was a lovely hike with enough elevation to make it interesting, but lots of flat areas to catch your breath. We didn't go all the way to the Loch, but we greatly enjoyed the part we walked.
