About
Dunblane Museum is an independent museum located just across from the cathedral. It is housed in a 17th century building and is run entirely by friendly and helpful volunteers. It has artefacts from the mediaeval cathedral, the town of Dunblane, and, for tennis fans, memorabilia of Andy and Jamie Murray. It is completely free to visit, is child friendly, has disabled access and an attractive gift shop. We love to welcome visitors.

Being a resident of Greenloaning and having hiked all around the local area, the crowning moment was putting all of that history together during a visit of this lovingly maintained building which is absolutely packed with the history I craved to put words into the landscape.
There's something for everyone in this little museum. Kids will love hunting for the knitted mice hiding in the various rooms, and the rest of us will enjoy learning more about local history.
Nice wee museum worth a visit nice staff free to get in
Well worth a visit; the welcome was warm, we spent a good 1-1.5 hours here and our children learned a lot about the history of the town and its buildings.
Great wee museum, opposite the stunning cathedral and lovely river walks around too
