a wonderful spot to spend 3-4 hours. The animals are healthy and well-cared-for, providing an engaging and educational visit. While some cages are empty, there are still plenty of fascinating exhibits to explore. The zoo's layout is family-friendly, ensuring that kids have a great time. One downside is the cafe, which has limited food options. the spacious car park right beside the zoo is very convenient
Took my grandson. The weather was a bonus, a lovely range of animals, birds, monkeys, cats, and many more to see. It's very well kept and clean. There are plenty of hand washing facilities, just a shame, not a lot of toilets around. To ask a young child to wait till we walk back to find the nearest on was hard for a young child. We loved to train but on a busy day it's a long wait till we got on, because the train only has a small amount of carriages but the tunnel and seeing the big Dinosaurs made up for it. I would definitely recommend it.
We visited here during the school holidays. We spent a lot of time here. It was a good variety of animals to see. Playground was quite big. There is a little train journey to see some animatronic dinosaurs I would say mainly for younger kids carriages are quite small. White tiger is special to see. Some animals like wombats were sleeping. Some good exhibits like big aviary where budgies and finches are flying freely around you. Worth a visit not a huge place but big enough to spend a few hours
Very lovely zoo. Clean, the animals are well kept. Has a cafe, a great playground, plenty of benches and enough space to have a picnic. The little train that runs on-site is extra, above the entry fee. Just saying because we did not see any signs mentioning it and we got surprised on the train when the driver asked "Cash or card?" :) :)
Lovely family place. Lots of shade. Good range of animals. Great play park. Good selection of talks included. Plenty of toilets and picnic benches. Only things that was a bit annoying was paying PS3.50 per person for the little train round some dinosaurs. Bit steep after paying PS19 pp to get in.
Lovely small zoo with plenty of animals to see, perfect for 2-3 hours with the kids. There are an impressive array of birds of all sizes, and big cats including tigers and cheetahs, as well as brown bears. There's a small charge for the land train ride around the cheetah enclosure which has a Jurassic surprise in the form of a series of animatronic dinosaurs. It's a little let down by the poor quality of catering in the lone cafe, but there are picnic places to avoid this. At this price point the zoo park is a good value morning or afternoon out to sate the children's appetite for seeing some exotic creatures.
