This is a must see part of the island. The cost isn't excessive and is even better if you buy the voucher books from the guest services kiosk

Everyone goes to the main Needle's attraction which can get rather touristy! We were looking for a different view of the Needle's and boy did we find it! So much history to be discovered at the Old Battery and only PS20 for a family. Also the cafe is rather nice too :) I would highly recommend parking at Yarmouth and taking the Needle's Breezer bus it is a little expensive but the views from the top deck are awesome. Also you get a very informative commentary which may teach you things about the IOW that you didn't know!

Compton beech was stunning. Great family experience. Clear sea is fantastic to splashing, surfing and swimming in. Can get wavey though which just makes it more fun

Visited Alym Bay , The Needles , The Old and New Battery (National Trust). Car park PS5 to everyone. Bus available up hill to battery or walk. Superb views drinks and food at tea room. Plenty to see all round. See for miles.

Beautiful landscapes, cliffs and many historical places to visit. Very well connected by public transport if you don't have a car or bike. Totally worth to spend there 4 or days easily. The cost of daily ticket for the bus is 10PS and 15PS for 48 hours. Don't miss the Osbourne House, the Needles and the Carisbroke castle.

Absolutely gorgeous place to relax once the busy summer season ends. Amazing location, the sea is lovely to Swim, surf or kayak , paddle board. Good parking but be prepared for a steep staircase down to the beach. It's a fab beach for BBQ's . It's a very natural beach away from luxurys so no toilet's or eating/drinking facilities.
