Plenty of parking (PS1.00 an hour nowadays). You can sit in your car and just watch the sea and the people walking, many with their dogs. Or you can explore the shoreline, much better at low tide if you have a dog. Some of the seafront is not dog friendly in Summer, quite understandably, but in late Autumn and Winter the beaches are dog friendly and they all love to run and sniff and paddle and swim- almost like humans Our Cockapoo is a dream, well behaved off the lead and very responsive when playing, she even likes to get her paws wet chasing balls into the soft surf. The tide goes out a long way here and the sandy shore is exposed, far from the stoney appearance at high tide. All round a lovely break, especially if you remember the flask of coffee and a nice nibble; maybe a biscuit, a slice of cake or a full blown picnic. A good day out deserving of a comfortable rest when you get home, for both you and the dog.
