What a beautiful tranquil place. The chalk streams are crystal clear as is the lake. The thatched houses and church are stunning. The walled garden is so peaceful and we loved the way it was set out. The cafe has a very calm and charming atmosphere. The walled garden & cafe are only open Wednesday & Sunday afternoons. It closes for the season September 15th. Sadly the whole valley is up for sale so if you want to visit don't delay. The staff at the cafe are wonderful and there's a very nice cake selection also cream tea. The cafe has a toilet. .

It is worth a visit for how stunning it is. Unfortunately, only a small section of the lake is available due to private land.
