I really liked this museum. You might think that because Petersfield is a small town it probably doesn't have much history. You would be wrong! It has been a market town since the 12th century and actually has a very interesting history. Also several famous people were born in/lived in Petersfield. It is in a Victorian police station so I got to see the old police cells.

A must-visit attraction for Petersfield residents past and present looking to explore the history of the town and its surrounding area. I visited with my daughter on a quiet Saturday afternoon. The exhibits are small but there is lots of interactive elements to them to keep kids entertained including the former cells. I would highly recommend if you haven't already visited.

Visited for the Peggy Guggenheim display. Not a huge fan of the art on show, but the information about her life and connection to the artists very well presented, (if slightly coy). Staff very helpful and friendly, and enjoyed the coffee.

A small gallery that includes Petersfield's history, and Flora Twort's work - managed to hold two excellent exhibitions that I've seen so far - Paula Rego and Peggy Guggenheim. Impressive!

We're very lucky to have the Petersfield :-) There are so many exhibitions, and other events (incl. live music, theatre) - and the staff are always very helpful :-) I highly recommend going to one of their events - and also becoming a member :-) And there is also a cafe at the court yard :-)
