I Had a lovely walk today at the Rifle Range for the first time. The bridleways were wonderful, I will be riding down here ASAP. Brilliant for horse riding, dog walking, jogging and walking. Plenty of horse friendly gates.

I love this place. Whether you start from Blackstone, the safari (Rydd) or Burlish Top. The walk is gorgeous at anytime of year. You can see the Severn Valley Railway, safari park. Poppy fields sometimes. The Devil's Spitiful and the wild cattle roaming about. It's just a damn fine place to wander. Please bear in mind if you park at the Blackstone Picnic site it closes the gate at half six PM. There are other places to park. Just have a look on Google maps.

Absolutely beautiful, lots of different trails to walk along. Beautiful sights. You can hear the lions and tigers roaring at the top of devil's spittleful from West Midlands safari park. Definitely would recommend

My favourite local spot, whatever time of year you go it's always beautiful, the nearby poppy fields are spectacular at the moment. The devils spittleful is worth seeing too & the passing steam trains just adds to the ambience

Love coming up here with my dogs, beautiful place to walk and take photos, doesn't tend to be super busy, you can easily walk around the reserve without bumping into anyone. The sunset from Devils Spittleful is stunning too.

A beautiful place to visit deep in the countryside. It is quite a walk from the Blackstone picnic area but worth the walk. Not very suitable for wheelchair users without assistance as hilly and rough and bumpy tracks. Mobility scooter uses may manage ok. Paths around the Rifle Range are narrow and sandy. Loads of wildlife around so perfect for photography.
