Dog and child friendly. A little piece of the countryside in the middle of a town. Love it. Ideal for walks, picnics, ball games, play park etc. enjoy a walk around the old Southampton Cemetery with its historical graves!

Went to the common for a "let's rock" concert. Great place to host these events

Let's Rock is excellent but Council should make more use of the common like central park NYC.

Attended a Let's Rock event 2024. I walked across the comman to the event from the university campus. It was extremely clean with a very big pond in the centre. Lots of good quality pathways. Very relaxed atmosphere. Ideal place for a family picnic, taking a stroll, seating to enjoy the area, or reading a book. There are lots of runners there, too.

I love this place! It's always so peaceful and helps me cleanse my head. I especially enjoy seeing the ducks and swans around the pond in the middle. It's indeed a lovely place. It's next to a busy road but you can never hear the cars which is always a bonus.
