About

In case you were wondering, we are the Cathedral Church of St Andrew and St David, in the city of St Davids. Hence we are 'St Davids Cathedral' not 'St David's Cathedral' just like St Albans Cathedral, Ely Cathedral, etc!

The cathedral was very beautiful, the exterior and interior were amazing. Such good details in the carpentry and masonry. I really loved that part. We sadly had to go through the cathedral quickly, as we just happened to arrive right before a wedding.

A beautiful cathedral surrounded by a nice little town. The cathedral itself is next to some very interesting ruins and a graveyard and a small river. The medieval/Gothic architecture is very interesting and the inside it breathtaking. Definitely come here if you are passing by the area.

I looked over a wall to find the cathedral when walking back from the official car park. I was in awe. What a beautiful cathedral. The purplish grey hue, the irregular stones and slates added charms to the building. The interior is just as amazing. The view from the small hill top should never be missed. The only regret is not going back to enjoy the evensong (due to tight travelling schedule).

A fabulous place to visit. I spent quite some time studying the fine architecture. There were lots of little sections to the cathedral, each with its own identity and purpose. There's a shop and a cafe that I did not visit, but plenty of people did. It's free to visit, but they do press for a "voluntary donation." You can walk all around the building and enjoy a picnic. A stream flows to the side and a path leads to the old bishops's palace.

To call St Davids Cathedral beautiful would be an understatement. Rich history, stunning architecture, magnificent views. Highly recommend visiting when in town, would also suggest visiting on a weekday as it was not crowded.

What a glorious place to visit, set in beautiful surroundings, there's no fee to get in the cathedral but they do ask a donation, I believe they charge for St Davids Palace but the amount I don't no, Excess to everyone but very hilly in places, certainly worth coming here. Had a great time, specially as they had a choir on today, sounded amazing Thank you all.
