Close so it's always good for a visit. It's free but they encourage voluntary donations, which is absolutely fair enough. Doesn't matter how much, it all helps. Well worth a visit and the visitors center has some superb artifacts. Highly recommended.

It's a good place to visit specially when there is an event like " vikings " . Lot to see , lot to enjoy if you are a nature lover. You can see the museum for free.

The display and activities in the centre were good but the cafe wasn't up to much. I realise that as there's no entry charge it's possibly being run on a tight budget but one table and drinks made from "hot" water from a flask does not a cafe make. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

Amazing. The castle was really nice, lovely walk around, beautiful forest. Had a look around then had a picnic. Was wonderful then ent to the visitor centre which was Great, lots of interesting things to look at and do. you can try on the Sheila's and clothes and helmets, it's brilliant loads of fun. (Bonus its all free) The little shops cute, nice people.

Amazing day out. The trail was clearly marked out and the information boards were easy to read and very factual. We couldn't complete the whole trail because of the wet weather but we didn't mind. It's a good reason to visit again.

Decided to have a stroll to Stafford Castle. Information boards could do with a clean but all in all interesting to have a look at this 900 years old Castle ruins. We were able to venture inside some of the remains. Along the trails were some nice wooden sculptures. Parking on site also a cafe and the Castle museum.
