Absolutely amazing! Our tour guide Ryan was excellent. Very knowledgeable and personable. He engaged with everyone in the party and made the history fascinating to listen to. Beautiful castle. Stunning views. A must if you are in the area.

A great Scottish castle steeped in history. You can either do a guided tour, audio tour or just look around by yourself. Andrew, the tour guide we had, was excellent. His story telling and knowledge just added to the experience. There are several gift shops, exhibitions, toilets and a cafe on site. On busy days the car park gets full quickly, but we used the park and ride from the outskirts of town, which drops you off a couple of minutes walk away.

Great castle! I loved the exhibits and interactive options. Very cool to see the replica and original Stirling heads. If you can buy tickets in advance you can save a few pounds so that's worthwhile. The parking lot was also full when we arrived so we had to drive pretty far to find something in town.

One of my favourite castles I visited when in Scotland. Spectacular views from all sides. Beautiful gardens and quiet spots which you imagine would have been so nice back then. Great war memorial and arts inside too. Highly recommended.

Found myself stuck in Stirling for a night. Unplanned not only did I find a Hostel which is 5 minutes from castle families welcome, prices change all the time. I managed to bag a night at PS26. Anyway, I couldn't not visit the grounds of the castle. I arrived after it had closed. Car park signs showed PS4 parking. I'm sure it would be worth a visit inside castle itself. For the history and to take it all in. The views surrounding the castle are Majestic & truly spectacular. Be prepared for walking uphill. The photos do not do it justice. Capturing the marvel as many have done on here is fantastic. I arrived just before late evening.

Amazing place. There was more history than I could handle. If you drive to the very top of the castle road, parking is 4 pounds. You pay for parking at the ticket window. The castle has such beautiful grounds. I used an Explorer Pass obtained through Historic Scotland. I did not arrange for a tour. But there are many exhibits that tell the story. There were also actors in period dress that tell the stories of various rooms. We took about two hours to see majority of the place.
