About
The Tower of London, officially known as Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress of the Tower of London, is a historic castle located on the north bank of the River Thames in central London. This ancient fortress has served as a palace, prison, armory, and even a zoo over the centuries. Today, it is home to the Crown Jewels and the Yeoman Warders (also known as Beefeaters). The Tower is perhaps most famous for its iconic White Tower, built in the late 11th century, and its legendary Ravens, which are said to protect the tower and the kingdom. Visitors can explore the tower's battlements, towers, and chambers, including the Bloody Tower, the Martin Tower, and the Medieval Palace. The Ceremony of the Keys, a 700-year-old tradition, takes place every night, and the tower is also famous for its Beheading Site, where many royals and nobles met their demise.

We were very disappointed, after a long drive, we could find no access to the tower site. No information or directions. Should be removed from tourist information. We could only see the tower through a maze of telephone wires. Don't waste your time visiting.
Impressive hand built tower, we viewed it from the roadside. The tower can be seen from many miles around. We didn't initially know what it was and struggled to find anything on Google, then by chance we drove past it on our way to Hurst castle. Its now a residential block (for persons unafraid of heights) so public viewing is no longer allowed. An internet search showed that in 2016 (I think) the. Building sold for PS2 million.
Well what can I say!! A absolute stunner of a place to stay! So beautiful so quite and a very warming welcoming host Julie. We had the best anniversary weekend staying in your tower and we definitely plan on staying again. Also would like to point out the breakfast was so yummy There is a lot of steps but all worth it for the stunning breathtaking view xx Thanks again Julie and Paul! Megan and Barrie Smith. X
An amazing place with Falcons nesting.
It has been our reference point on a lot of walks across the forest so we finally thought we'd take an evening walk to see it up close. Amazing building. Largest non-reinforced concrete construction in the world. A lot of the buildings close by are also concrete construction. Worth a quick visit.
Great friends live in the area of the tower . A fantastic place .
