A visit to Thirsk Birds of Prey Centre is inspiring and uplifting. We have one of the largest collections of flying birds in the North. The centre is home to around 100 birds from 50 different species from around the world which enables us to fly an amazing variety of birds in each of our daily free flight displays (weather permitting). All set in in our beautiful Yorkshire countryside. We fly a selection of owls, vultures, eagles and kites to name but a few of the different species that call the centre their homeIn-between displays you can take a walk around the aviaries to view our very impressive collection of birds in their rest areas. We also offer experience days starting from PS60pp.

We had a nother fabulous day at Thirsk Birds of Prey Centre today. We love days out here. The entire team are lovely, friendly and welcoming and have a wealth of knowledge to share. They are always happy to answered questions and their love for the birds and what they do shines through. The flying shows are great and the experience days and half days are superb. If you don't pay them a visit you are missing out!

Great day out. Well priced and not over the top like some places. So many beautiful birds. Can't take my big lens but still managed some great photos. Staff are really friendly! The wife got to hold an owl for the first time in years so she was very happy!

Loved it, the best shows I have ever seen. A good selection of birds flown and an excellent informative young lady doing the commentary. Will definitely visit again if in the area.

I visited the Thirsk Bird of Prey Centre in May 2024 and had a truly delightful experience. The variety of birds on display was impressive, showcasing lots of species. The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the flying display, where a selection of magnificent birds demonstrated their prowess and beauty in the air. The staff were knowledgeable and passionate, enhancing the experience with insightful information about each bird. I highly recommend a visit to anyone interested in these incredible creatures. Great place to come and visit to see a wide variety of Birds of Prey. They put on a great show and have the opportunity to hold two for PS10 pp depending on availability! Show had 10 birds in it and this was only the start of their Season. Staff very friendly and informative, happy to help and answer questions. Allow you to take pics and get close up during the show!

A lovely day out with the grandson missed the first show but the midday one was excellent and the third show was very good.
