Lovely little museum with free entry. Interesting place.

Great little free museum, but not open every day. Lots of local history and domestic life in Tudor times. Interesting material about Charles Babbage and Ada Lovelace, pioneers of computing. No food or facilities, but surrounded by cafes and pubs.

Great little museum over 3 levels. Crammed with interesting items. Information on Totnes history bringing everyday life alive. Two small gardens with information on medicinal use of flowers and herbs . No entry fee. Run by volunteers. Donation welcomed

Interesting place to visit, free admission but they do rely on donations and suggest a very reasonable PS2 a person. Quite a lot to see on multiple floors. Glad we popped in for a look around. If you are in the area do pop in!

A fascinating place to visit. If you come to Totnes for the Castle make sure you have time to see this as well. An amazing old house with original features and courtyard with garden plus plenty of interesting exhibits from different time periods. No charge to go in but donations help them to continue their important work. Don't miss it! Simon & Laura

As museum go it's not very big but well worth looking around as there is plenty to see...The building it self is very historical with all the lovely old wooden beams and supporting posts...what fascinated us was one particular man by the name of Charles Babage, the things he started to invent all those years ago is almost unbelievable....Back in the 18th century he came up ideas about computers and submarines etc,you would never imagined people thinking like that all those years ago...What a clever man he was...The whole museum is so interesting to look around
