What a fantastic experience. I was a little sceptical about booking after I had read some of the reviews but I am so glad I did. This place is really big ! Super cheap to get in. Fantastic grounds with HUGE play areas and lots of them. The animals are unusual and interesting. The layout is great and the Cafe is huge with a really big play area. The food and drinks are really cheap in the cafe. A lovely little gift shop on the way out with a variety of gifts. When we went the park were doing a trail in which the children had to solve clues and got sweets at the end ! I would advise taking a bit of change, there are a few pay rides for the children to do but not compulsory. Honestly a truly lovely day out. I travelled with my son and we spent a good 4 hours here.

I really enjoyed my visit with my family. We all saw something we'd never seen before and the raccoon feeding and talk was great. The only thing preventing this from a 5 star rating is that the location isn't quite as modern and up to date as other similar attractions. This didn't bother us at all, but might be a factor for others.

We've had an absolutely amazing time here. There's lots of animals to see and loads of things for the kids to do. The zookeepers do talks on various different animals throughout the day and are very knowledgeable and friendly. There's a massive outdoor play area and inside the cafe there's also a big play area. The food is nice and in keeping with the price of food anywhere else you visit around here. We will definatley visit her again the next time we're on holiday down here.

I love this place. it's a little treasure. Loads of things for the kids to do and play with if you take the time and the weather is good. But I also think it's a great place for a date. Yes, the building is old, but the animals are happy, and it's a great day out. I will be back with my niece and nephews! Food was nice, but tip, if you have a burger, go for the beef and not the chicken. it's just better! I didn't want to put too many photos on, so it remains a treat

A lovelly place to visit but you need cash for the indoor toddler rides and machines and there is no cash point. They have ride on cars outside that need PS1 coins also and are great fun. I would say the entrance ticket is a little highly priced for what you get out of it. It's still a great little place to go and see.

Outstanding! Not just for kids either, we just 'happened across' this zoo and it was splendid. Lovely staff, very nice cafe to shelter from the rain and enjoy chips, toastie, cakes or ice creams. Animal enclosures were well kept, large and the animals were looking very healthy. Animals were enriched with food and interactions (otters hunted for food in between rocks and in crevices for example). We walked round more than twice!! Would highly recommend.
