About

Designed by architect John Loughborough Pearson, it is one of only three cathedrals in the UK which has three spires. Completed in 1910 it is a magnificent example of gothic revival architecture. A must-see place to visit in Cornwall with free entry. The cathedral is at the heart of the Cornwall community and is a central hub for Truro events including arts, learning and Cornwall music. The esteemed Truro Cathedral Choir regularly perform concerts and sing at Truro Cathedral Services.

Newer free cathedral with great signage and beautiful stained glass. Highlights can be viewed in about 20 minutes. It doesn't have the lengthy history of some other English cathedrals, so can be viewed in slightly less time. Donations appreciated, and they have free clean toilets.

Considering this Cathedral was only built in 1879 because of the way the architect has presented the building you could be forgiven for thinking it was several hundred years older. It deserves your attention, it is not funded by C of E but by the people of Truro and public donations. It is well worth a visit and your support. It is beautiful.

What a beautiful cathedral. Amazing architecture. Polite, friendly and courteous staff/ volunteers on site. Amazing stain glass windows. Organ music being played whilst we were there. One of the most amazing cathedrals I've been to. Please visit!!

Beautiful cathedral. Free to look around but a donation is suggested. Worth doing to keep this beautiful place going. The ladies handing out brochures were very friendly. Worth a visit.

Absolutely stunning place and a nice place to look around. Well worth it. Lots of history and really beautiful place. No entry fee but donations are accepted

A wonderful cathedral with a lot more history than you would expect, well worth a visit. There is no charge to go in only a donation which I hope all will give generously to keep such a wonderful structure in good repair.
