A wonderful day out. Lots to see, plenty of extra little activities for kids, including a big play area, face painting and a train! A lot of walking is to be expected but it is pleasant, especially if the weather is on your side. Toilets were clean and easily found. Prices weren't too steep. There are also members of the team dotted around to give you information on some of the animals you are looking at. We enjoyed ourselves very much and will be back.

This place is perfect for a fun day with the kids. Be sure to set aside a full day, hopefully with sunny weather, for your trip. Besides seeing a variety of animals, the zoo offers some stunning and picturesque spots. Note: If you're not used to walking long distances, consider driving in the zoo and parking at different spots to minimise walking.

If you're looking for a day out with the little ones this should be on the list. There were plenty of food and ice cream trucks throughout the area. It was well maintained and I we felt we were at a park. There is a huge play and picnic area. Animals were kept under utmost protection and care. Enjoyed the whole experience.

The best experience was the bird show/talk. The second best was the farm show. The zoo is very large,we could only see about 3/10 of the territory. The aquarium and butterfly area didn't impress us, as we had previously visited the Butterfly Garden in Stratford-upon-Avon, which was awesome. We haven't visited the London Aquarium, but we've visited others in different countries, and the one in the zoo is probably the smallest we've ever seen. We'll definitely come back again since we couldn't see much on our first visit.

What a wonderful zoo. Although a lot of the animals were not outside as it was a very hot day, it still didn't disappoint. Lots of walking as it is a big zoo, so plan your visit via the app otherwise you will be walking back and forth. Highly recommended for a day out

It's definitely one of the best zoos I have been to. Lots of great animals to see, a nice picnic spot to enjoy your homemade picnic, and plenty of food options if you are buying there. Saw a great bird show on as well. The kids loved it and are always happy to go back. If you are thinking of coming regularly to the zoo then I would advise buying the annual pass which would work out as great value for money after a few visits.
