A beautiful little natural pond surrounded by woods. There is a hide with wheelchair access. Parking is limited but if your disabled you can park on the main road outside the hut.. the day I visited it was extremely windy so only a few ducks were present. I intend to return when the weather improves. For those starting out there is a useful selection of wildlife photos displayed on the board in the hide. Well worth the visit If approached from pinewood road the reserve is on the right hand side. There are wooden benches for visitors to observe the wildlife at this entrance

Visited Market Drayton in October when many attractions are closed for winter. We would like to thank the lovely volunteers at the Museum that although closed for the winter break were kind enough to show us the exhibits from the local area which were being updated for summer. Highly recommend and encourage support of this local Museum.

Lovely walk along the old railway track bed. Hidden gem just discovered. It's straight route there and back, but guess will be beautiful in the summer. On street parking is the only (very minor) drawback ....

Have been coming here regularly for over a year now. Great value season ticket if you live within the area. Fantastic gardens, lakes and waterfalls with botanical interest around every corner. Excellent dog friendly walks, with a large Cafe serving a good range of food and scrumptious cakes! Do not miss the Kitchen garden, stocking a wide range of flowers fruit and vegetables.

What a lovely garden; a delight around every corner. An extremely pleasant way to spend a couple of hours wandering around; the dedication and work that has gone into creating this lovely 4 acre site has to be seen by anyone with a love for gardens. I visited in late May, 'in between' seasons but there was so much to take in and enjoy. A lovely tearoom too. A warm welcome to boot. Highly recommended.

We joined a free kitchen garden tour this morning which was hosted by the kitchen gardener, Sarah. We were guided around the grounds and shown the poly tunnel, beds, and terraces which had an amazing variety fruits and vegetables. Sarah was extremely knowledgeable about the produce and plants and didn't hesitate to answer any questions or give hints and tips for keen gardeners on the tour. We finished our morning sat on the terrace with coffee, drinks and cake. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for our group and even found gluten free cake and a dairy free alternative for my daughter. The cakes and scones were delicious and we will be back to try out dinner!!
