This 12-acre park features a large pond, walking trails, a children's play area, and a skate park. The park is also home to a variety of wildlife, including ducks, swans, and fish. Visitors can enjoy a picnic on the grass or at one of the many picnic tables, or take a leisurely stroll around the pond. The park hosts several events throughout the year, including concerts, festivals, and fireworks displays.
Lovely place to walk you dog , just wish the rubbish around the skate park was reduced as there is bins but people aim is obviously bad ! Glass and cans everywhere
Whilst not the biggest park, it's generally always well maintained. The circular path is great for kids on bikes/scooter as whole route can be seen from any point by parents. The play area itself is also fairly small, 4 swings two of which are toddler one, a small climbing frame with slide and a roundabout. The Park has plenty of benches, a couple of picnic tables, a couple of football goals and a few exercise pieces. Note: no dogs allowed.
Visited on a sunny day. Children were playing football, learning to ride bikes and playing games. Lots of people were sat on the benches enjoying the surroundings. The park was well maintained and didn't have litter.
Safe park for little kids with a track that they can run and cycle around and a small play area. Particularly liked the community orchard and the small Remembrance area. Well kept.
Basic playground but kids enjoy it more could be done there
Nice little market with friendly staff. Sadly a few of the shops have closed since I last visited.
