This 18-tonne bell is one of the largest in the world, measuring 3.8 meters in diameter and 2.5 meters in height. It was originally cast in 1881 for the clock tower of the Palace of Westminster, but was too large and was eventually installed in 1992 on the seafront in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. The bell is decorated with a series of reliefs depicting the tides and the sea, and is accompanied by a large clock face.
