Alderford Lake is the perfect destination for summer family fun - from our incredible 120 person aquapark, to paddleboard hire, to our twist on Escape Rooms this is a must visit destination. Your summer starts at Alderford Lake. Onsite we also have incredible selection of food options, including our Snugburys Ice Cream Parlour, our bustling Lakeside Kitchen and our Farm Shop. On the 5th - 6th July we will hosting our very own music festival, AlderFest, headlined by SClub and Scott Mills.
Visited for the Aquapaddle. A well organized / planned event. Good facilities. I didn't see any signs saying the cafe was table service, and couldn't see any menus on the tables, but we decided to go out to the coffee kiosk and get cuppa, which was much quicker. You get 3hrs free parking, which is on an ANPR type system. Staff are friendly. Worth a visit.
What a wonderful place to have fun. The staff are friendly and the place is clean you can kayak, body board, and swim there. Also there's an assault course on the water there's board and wetsuit hire there and food stalls ect
Aqua park is amazing what great activity, staff and life guards were great, weather wasnt the beat but still an amazing visit - be even better on a hot day. Lake is beautiful and the paddle boards looked fun but was a littlw cold after the aqua park, great food and drink options there too.
Large lake perfect for paddle boarding or Fresh Water Swimming and they offer extras like the Aqua Park and also Escape Islands.
Had a lovely walk and lunch here. Staff were great, finding us a table although we hadn't booked and it was very busy. Food was very nice and fresh and it was nice to walk around the lake and watch people doing various water sports.
It's been great to see this place grow over the last 10 years, what a difference! Fantastic amenities and a beautiful spot for enjoying open water swimming, paddle boarding and kayaks.
