Highly recommend the hiking trail! Tho keep to the white trail markings if you do not wish to end up walking till the next town! The views are one of a kind.
The walk is easy. Beautiful forest to start but afterwards the area suffered a terrible devastation. Still an ok walk and you can get. Nice views over the Loch Ness. Very quiet.
There are several routes you can take - the one following the little river brings you to a plateau that offers a stunning view of loch ness and the surrounding area. it is a pretty strenuous one hour hike to get there, but well worth it. There are several waterfalls and little pools of water along the way as well.
A lovely place to visit. Hardly any public and great routes off to different areas. The views of the waterfall and Loch Ness are stunning. Would highly recommend going here and spending a few hours.
Was an easy and difficult hike at the same time! Such great fun!
Steep but steady uphill walk from car park beside waterfall which then levels out on a forest road to the viewpoint over Loch Ness, before heading downhill through the forest to the car park again. Picnic tables and information board in car park. No toilet facilities, but parking is free.
