Amazon World on the Isle of Wight is a fantastic family-friendly attraction that offers a unique glimpse into the animal kingdom. The clever layout of the park ensures that visitors can easily navigate through and see all the animals by following the paths, which adds to the overall experience. My wife and daughter were particularly enchanted by the ring-tailed lemurs and wallabies. The highlight for us was the opportunity to hand-feed the wallabies for just PS1; they approached us with such curiosity and friendliness, making it a memorable experience. Overall, Amazon World is a delightful place for animal lovers and a perfect day out for families!
Unfortunately we visited on a day where it was raining heavily and had quite a lengthy wait - we believe this was due to people being asked to fill out gift aid forms at the entrance, where it would have been better for these to be completed and then returned on the way out, especially as there were a number of children getting very wet. The animals are obviously well cared for and have everything they could need, although we were unable to experience certain aspects due to the weather Unfortunately you cannot book online which would have saved a fair amount of time.
Loved this little animal haven on the isle of wight was really nice speaking to the keeper about the red pandas when they were being fed and great to have three animal walk through aswell. Food is reasonable priced and definitely worth a visit. It's also nice that it's split into two sections, the indoor area, which was great to walk through with the birds all free inside and the lovely outside areas
Lovely zoo, with a nice mix of animals, that have the space and enrichment for their wellbeing. Lovely clean zoo. The cafe was fantastic, staff were so lovely and helpful. Definitely recommend the bacon baps, bacon and egg bap and to drink have a milkshake, fantastic.
Really enjoyed our day here, especially the Lemur Walkthrough and seeing the new Red Panda. Generally the animals looked healthy and happy and staff were friendly. We thought the ticket price was a bit high for the size of the place though.
We saw online the price for a family of 5 would be PS85 and were worried that we wouldn't get value for money but we were pleasantly suprised! They have plenty of really beautiful animal enclosures with some animals you don't even get to see in the bigger zoos, the soft play was amazing and the ticket gave us free return for the whole family for 7 days!!! So we will definitely be coming back, fab day out with lots to do and really friendly staff
