Tudor home of hands-on museum and events covering 2000 years of local history, plus herb garden.
Visited Amersham museum yesterday - lovely place, provides many details on the history of the place. Plenty of cute cafes, pubs and shops around also. I went on the Thursday and it was not difficult to find free parking nearby. Otherwise, there is city parking also, which is not very expensive.
A well-run, informative and interesting small museum on the main street. It's mostly volunteer-run and they do a great job in keeping it and making you feel welcome. Nice information on the contribution of women to the town. Not bad for PS6. Check out the herb garden too.
Interesting small museum.
Excellent little museum in the centre of old Amersham. Well laid out with interesting displays and beautifully maintained. Friendly welcome. Much more to Amersham than you would realise.
Lovely old town at the end of the Metropolitan line. Visit the museum on a 15th century "hall" house and a herb garden. The market hall still has a market
Enjoyable film and television location guided walk around Amersham hosted by Amersham Museum - here are the Sun Houses on Highover Park and further up the hill is High & Over
