I really enjoyed my visit to museum and a dink in the small cafe. Friendly staff made me feel welcome as well and free parking on site. Highly recommend.

Lovely place. Staff were friendly & helpful, explained about some of the exhibits &left us to look around. Visited with 8 & 12 year old boys. They loved looking at the olden times in Andover, gas masks & ration books. Liked the Lego exhibit & the skulls. I think 'hairy Mary' was their favourite though.

Lovely friendly staff. Came late in the day but accommodated us on a fast trip around. The recreation Iron Age hut was a surprise as was the lego village (genius) and of course Derek.

Really interesting insight into the history of the Andover area. Many interesting displays covering the iron age and more recent history. Friendly helpful staff....one lady moved her car from full car park so we could enjoy the museum without worrying about the time. Many thanks to Sarah for sharing her knowledge. There's even a lovely small shop where you can get a coffee and a cake!!

A museum of two parts; the Iron Age Museum occupys the ground floor and some of the first, and is absolutely crammed full of artefacts, information and reconstructions. The Andover Museum does not go into quite so much detail, but is still certainly worth a look to find out about the more recent history of the town and it's environs. Well worth a visit on a rainy day.

I just went with my family (2 kids 8 & 10) to the Andover Iron Age museum. It was fantastic and just the type of museum the county and country needs. It was extremely interesting, both for kids and adults. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. I couldn't recommend it more.
