Great place for a walk and people watch and watch the ducks and other birds. Nice quiet place and look out for the wood sculptures on your way round. And don't forget to visit the cafe nice food and drinks and not to forget the ice cream. Great place for dogs as well. Large car park as well.
This is a fantastic place to go walking, the area is great with a 2 mile walk around the lake, also a cafe that is very reasonably priced, ,car park is a pay & Display, sometimes it isn't working so free parking on these days, great for the kids as the Room On The Broom Witch is an adventure trail with things to find on your way around, a must if you want to get the kids out for a good walk, 10/10 . Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
Lovely large lake to see wildlife, with hides to watch birds, animals etc. Footpaths around the lake and woodlands.
Lovely walk with my daughter and grandkids loved it x did the withch trail then finished off at the park x nice cafe where we got ice cream x about 2 miles around x
Super lake and countryside walks and trials available. Paths are flat but were very waterlogged and muddy in parts when we visited. There's a small pay carpark (which gets very busy at weekends, school and Bank Holidays apparently) There's a visitor centre, cafe and toilets. Pleasant stroll with the dog, we'll be back when the weather improves.
This place is great. The trail is perfect for kids, great for walking or cycling. There is a good playground right by the cafe which does a nice selection of food. When we went there was a free indoor activity laid out for kids too which our little one really enjoyed. Great place for a family day out. Only watch out is the car park can get busy
